nice o.o I've never jailbroken my device before (Ipad 2, I have IOS 5.0.1), a friend of mine who has a jailbroken ipod 4.3.3, told me that jailbreaking the device has it's letdowns, for example his Ipod lags a lil when sliding or loading an app, is there any other major changes on the device's performance after a succesful jailbreak? coz I'm thinking on jailbreaking my ipad since I already used most of my Apple Gift Card Credit (bought most of the app store lol) and wanna test some games I didn't buy coz I didn't know for certain if they were good or not (splited opinions on em..)…..I don't even know how installous works lol….I'll appreciate suggestions and comments

@Paul: We can’t recommend jailbreaking the iPad to install installous (in fact, we don’t support questions about installous). Of course, the jailbreak can have an effect on the device’s performance. However, many people jailbreak their devices because of the tweaks and programs available in Cydia which improve their user experience and add new features to the device.

I see, so it is true that jailbreaking lowers the perfomance? in that case, what kinds of letdowns can I find on a jailbroken device (aside of the lagging my friend told me about?

        Tyvm in advance

@Paul: Since jailbreak for iOS 5.0.1 was released, there's been a problem with iBooks (which is now solved). These kind of problems apart, your iPad should work properly.
